Privacy

Your work history belongs on your computer.

Sherlock helps you remember your work without turning that memory into somebody else's database.

##Local storage

Stored locally

Screenshots, activity logs, summaries, and recent context live on your Mac. Sherlock does not maintain a server-side copy of your work history. You can see the exact local paths in Settings → My Data, and open the files directly.

Used only when useful

Relevant text will be sent to an LLM provider (Claude, OpenAI, etc.) for topic classification, summary generation, and chat. That request returns to your computer; we do not store it.

Easy to clear

You can pause Sherlock, delete recent history, or wipe everything. When local data is deleted, Sherlock no longer has that memory.

##Plain answers

What does Sherlock actually see?

Only your active work, open apps, and tabs. Never minimized windows, private or incognito tabs, or sensitive inputs like passwords.

Can I pause or delete my data?

Yes, anytime. Delete recent history or wipe everything. You are in full control.
